Adam Pierce
MANAGING PARTNER
Tenkara was founded by Adam Pierce, a 20-year investment professional who has invested nearly $2 billion in over 40 transactions across multiple industries. Prior to founding Tenkara in 2020, Mr. Pierce was a Managing Director at Oaktree Capital Management where he served as a senior investment professional and member of the investment committee in the Special Situations and Global Principal Opportunities group.
Prior to joining Oaktree in 2003, Mr. Pierce worked for J.P. Morgan and Goldman Sachs. Mr. Pierce received a B.A. in economics with a focus on business administration from Vanderbilt University.
